H&M Haul!

The time has come for me to let you in on my little secret: I have an H&M shopping addiction...
No, not really, although I'd be lying if I said the thought never crossed my mind! I never considered H&M an option because the closest store is 400 miles away from me (luckily that's changing soon!) but boy was I missing out! As I'm sure many of you know, they have a great variety of clothes, including basics, at a great price, so I went a little nuts ordering and thought I'd share what I got as well as some things I found out along the way.
After going through my closet and getting rid of clothes, I realized I was in serious need for some basics items, or "closet essentials".  Of course those essentials can mean different things to different people depending on their style and what not. For me, I needed items that I could mix up to create a ton of different outfits since I have a lot of items that have prints or designs, or some items that I feel can only be paired with certain things. So, in a nutshell, here are all the goods:
Top: Jersey tank in Natural White, Jersey Tank in Coral Pink, Wide Cut top.
Bottom: Jersey Tank in Green, Top in Slub, Jersey top.

Maxi Dress in Dark blue/Stripes, High Heeled Sandals, Maxi skirts

Boyfriend Jeans, 2 pack Strapless Bras, Circular Skirt
Balconette Bra w/ matching bottoms and Soft Cup bra w/ matching bottoms

Tank top w/ burn out pattern
Tunic

Sizing:
I actually sized down for most of the items I got. When I was looking at reviews for jean sizing, most people were saying to size up by 1-2 sizes. So I did and they were ridiculously huge! So for me, the boyfriend jeans fit TTS, so order your size. However, the sizing may be different with the skinnier jeans. For the tops, if it's loose fitting, order down a size or two (it'll still be loose but not huge :)), fitted tops will probably be fine with your regular size.

Shipping/Returns:
It doesn't matter how many items you purchase, shipping/returns are always $5.95.
If you're not sure about the size of something, I recommend ordering your size and a size up or down depending on the item, if you're able to. Or you can order your size and always send it back to exchange it.
Exchanges have free shipping but returns do not. So you'll pay the $5.95 for the return, and then they'll order/ship out the exchange with no shipping charge. Returns are free if they sent the wrong item.
If you place multiple orders within a month, and have items to return from both, send them all back together and you'll only be charged for the return shipping once.

Shoes:
I'm a size 9 and my foot is kind of wide. I took a gamble on the high heeled sandals because I had ordered a pair from Forever21 and they were huge in my size. I was hoping that it was just the style that ran large regardless of the brand/company. Luckily, that assumption worked for me. I ordered the high heeled sandals from H&M in an 8.5 and they fit perfect! H&M doesn't offer a size 9, they have 8.5s and 9.5s.

Promos:
It seems like they have a promo going on every week. When you sign up for their newsletter you'll get a 20% off code.  Right now they have 50% off Skinny Low Jeans, starting at $9.95 (no promo code required) and 20% off Entire Kids Purchases over $50 (PROMO Code: 2233). Plus they have great deals in the Sale section.

Since my last order, I've been trying to stay away from their site and ignore their emails so I could take a break from shopping there. What ended up happening? I ordered a Golden Tote instead(*face palm*)! :) But I couldn't help it! Merrick from MerricksArt teamed up with them and it's just adorable. I highly recommend checking out her blog! And stay tuned for a Golden Tote post!
