Influenster #VowVoxBox

#VowVoxBoxCard

Its officially wedding season and Influenster sent out voxboxes "for the brides, bridesmaids, mother-of-the-bride, wedding guests, and wedding crashers of Influenster Nation" with their #VowVoxBox.

What Is Influenster?
#VowVoxBoxInfluenster is a free -to-join community of invited trendsetters who live to give opinions of products and experiences. Influenster creates links between brands and members to reward participation and influence future products.
Alright, now on to the good stuff! Here's what I got:

#VowVoxBoxFacts
The fact sheet on all of the items I received as well as how much they cost.

I was shocked to see how much everything cost; overall, my voxbox was worth about $49.12! Pretty awesome! And I was excited to see the Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream! I haven't tried anything from Olay, however, my mom is a huge fan, so I knew I was in for a treat. I guess we'll start there since I kind of already started too. :) hehe

OlayRegenLTPCream
Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream
This product claims to hydrate, not be feel greasy, fade dark spots, and brighten the skin. It's really really lightly scented, so for those who are sensitive to scents, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. I did find this product to be incredibly hydrating and made my skin feel super soft. Some moisturizers will make my skin feel soft for a couple of hours and the feeling goes away. With this, my skin feels baby soft even on days I skip using this! I'm actually amazed with this product. It might be a little too rich for my skin if I use it twice a day. I actually started getting small breakouts when I was doing that. I haven't had any issues after switching to once a day. Also, a little goes a long way! I haven't even made a dent and I've been using this all the way down my neck and on my eyes as an eye treatment (another bonus of this product). So overall, an A+++! Love it!

PureSilk Pure Silk Moisturizing Shave Cream
This is definitely not a new product to me! I love the scent and how creamy it is, not to mention affordable. The only thing I don't like about it is that I don't find it that moisturizing. I actually think it's quite drying on me. However, I feel like this stuff allows my shaver to glide easier and gives me a closer shave. And who doesn't want a close shave for their wedding?! Good call, Influenster! haha

Tide To Go

Tide To-Go Pen
This is one little guy I haven't needed to use yet. But I think this is definitely one of those products where it's better to have it and not need it, than not have it and need it. I usually tend to be more accident prone when wearing white, so days when I've been running around in anything white, this has been in my bag or near by.

EcoTools Complexion Sponge-Front
EcoTools Pure Complexion Facial Sponge
I was the most skeptical about this one. When the sponge is dry, it's super hard! In fact, it feels exactly like a Styrofoam ball!  Which is probably why EcoTools felt the need to post "SOFTENS when wet!" a couple of times on the package.  And speaking of packaging, I actually like the package because it's very informative and stands out. The front image of the box looks like any other sponge, but the back cut-out lets you feel the sponge (which is complete covered in plastic so its still sanitary haha) but it also explains what the sponge is made out of it, the benefits, and when to replace it. This came in handy when I was showing this to my boyfriend. I had said it was made out of "some kind of vegetable fiber from potatoes...or something like that..." as I reached for the box and read the back of box back to him. Then he asked, "What's 'Konjac'?" Lucky for me, EcoTools had me covered as that answer is on the side of the box. See, I knew potatoes were involved/mentioned somewhere! lol :P
EcoTools Complexion Sponge-Back
What the sponge is made out of, how to use it, when to replace it.
EcoTools Complexion Sponge-Konjac
What is Konjac? :)

Riley and Gray

Riley and Grey
Personally, I had never heard of this company before Influenster, but the lovely, classy and elegant design on the postcard intrigued me. Riley and Grey is company that designs wedding websites and allows you to have a custom domain name and offers limited edition designs that can be changed at any time and are compatible with mobile, tablet, and desktop browsers.  I've always loved the idea of having a wedding website because they're super convenient! You can post your engagement story, details about the wedding, reception, travel information for guests who are coming in from out of town. Plus, with a company like Riley and Grey, they've already done the designing for you, so you just get to customize it by adding all the good stuff about your big day! Plus, they give you the option to organize guests' addresses and collect RSVPs so it's easier on you. And the best part - I have a 50% off discount code for you to create your own wedding site with Riley and Grey! The promo code is: RGINFLUENSTER

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Barracuda
SHCSM ColorstickerIt wouldn't be a complete wedding themed box without something blue! And this Sally Hansen nail polish is supposed to be 7 salon benefits in one bottle. It claims to be a: base coat, nail strengthener, growth treatment, top coat, chip resistant, gel finish, and be a "salon-inspired color" (does that even count?). Although I will say the color is lovely, my nails felt stronger when I had this on, and that could explain why my nails were growing faster, but as for the other claims....I'm not too sure. And even if the other claims didn't add up for me, it wouldn't be a big deal because there's really only one thing that can make or break a polish for me and that's dry time. I tried this nail polish out on a "lazy Sunday" where we really didn't have anything going on, and it's a good thing I did. It took 3 coats to even out any streaking and become fully opaque but it took 3  hours for this stuff to MOSTLY dry! I even added quick dry drops! Luckily the top coat I added hid the "Are you dry yet" marks I made but it didn't prevent it from chipping. So overall, not super impressed with this nail polish, but maybe I just got a bad bottle as several other people like it. Who knows.

So there you have it, something old (the Pure silk I've used for years), something new (Olay regen. cream and Riley and Grey), nothing borrowed (unless someone needs to borrow the Tide to-go pen), but definitely blue! I always enjoy participating in these voxboxes and the brand challenges that go along with them. If you're not an influenster and would like an invite, I have a couple invitations available. Leave a comment with your email address and I'll email one to ya! It's all free, just requires a little bit of time to review some products, but that's most of the fun anyways. :)

**I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.**
