Glossybox - January 2014

If you're familiar with my blog, you probably already know that I've subscribed to Glossybox a couple of times. I had stopped because I wanted to save for a couple of other pricier subscriptions, but I saw this, and couldn't resist:

I think I may be one of the last girls to jump on the Beauty Blender bandwagon! I've been wanting to try one for the longest time, but honestly, I couldn't bring myself to pay $20 for a sponge. So, I saw that the January boxes were going to have Beauty Blenders, and I had a discount code, so I figured why not! And even though we're now into February, and I just received my box today, I'm glad I ordered this!

If you're not familiar with Glossybox, its a monthly subscription service with 4 payment options (all with free shipping):

Monthly - $21

3 Months - $60
6 Months - $115
12 Months - $220
And each box has 5 luxury beauty products and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Here's what I got:

Balance Me - Super Toning Body Wash (1.7 fl oz)
Is 99% natural and Balance Me is a multi-award winning British brand. "Packed full of skin-boosting, smoothing and toning juniper, bergamont, geranium, and lavender essential oil [...]". Now I haven't tried this yet, but it smells pretty good, kind of like something you'd find in a spa.
(Full size (3.4 fl oz ) $14)

Balance Me - Super Toning Body Wash (1.7 fl oz)

Bella Pierre Cosmetics - Mineral Blush in MB001 Desert Rose (0.13oz)

It' a sheer, all mineral blush that's supposed to give you a soft, fresh faced glow and it's suitable for all skin types. This is an awesome sample size, and the color is pretty and has some gold shimmer in it. It kind of reminds me of a mix between MAC Margin and Nars Orgasm. I did try this and I love the way it looks! It does give a nice healthy glow, and if I want to add to it, MAC's Stereo Rose (which was just relaunched) looks great with it.
(Full size (.14oz) $20)

Bella Pierre Cosmetics - Mineral Blush in MB001 Desert Rose (0.13oz)

Toni&Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe - Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray (2.5 fl oz)
I was super excited to see this because I love Sea Salt sprays! It smells a little bit like salty hairspray, so nothing special there but we'll see how this holds up when my hair is damp. On dry hair it adds some texture but my hair doesn't really respond to any kind of sea salt spray unless its damp. It's picky like that. :)
(Full size (6.8 fl oz) $14.99)

Toni&Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe - Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray (2.5 fl oz)

Vichy - Aqualia Thermal Rich Cream (0.5 fl oz)

This cream is supposed to provide 48 hours of hydration as well as soothe and strengthen dry skin. It's formulated with mineral rich Vichy Thermal water and hyaluronic acid for dry / sensitive skin. I might try this at night, but I don't have dry skin, it's more combination/oily so this may be a little too heavy for me.
(Full size (1.5 oz) $31)

Vichy - Aqualia Thermal Rich Cream (0.5 fl oz)

The Original Beauty Blender w/bar cleanser
I think by now most people are pretty familiar with this little guy; but if you're not, its supposed to help you achieve a flawless/airbrushed look when applying your makeup and you can even use it with skincare products.
(Full size $19.95)

The Original Beauty Blender w/bar cleanser

So I was originally excited just for the Beauty Blender and the Sea Salt spray, but I'm pretty happy with the rest of my box.
