July Glossybox & Coupon Code!

This is officially my second Glossybox, yay! I haven't tried everything out yet, but I've tried a few things out. AND if you haven't tried Glossybox yet, I found a coupon code for ya!

This post/review will probably be a little shorter than my others since I haven't really tried a ton of the products out yet. But here we go!

5 Samples PLUS a BONUS item this month! :)
Sample description card.

I haven't tried the Nails inc.(0.13 fl oz $4) nail polish yet, but it immediately reminded me of Sally Hansen Pacific Blue. I'll have to do a swatch and see how similar they are.

The Figs & Rouge Cherry Blossom Tinted Lip Balm ($9is great (and FULL SIZE)! This is the first time I've ever tried any of their products...and maybe even the first time I've ever really heard of them. But they're 100% natural and really make my lips feel super soft while adding a slight reddish tint. It says it has a "light cherry blossom scent" but I don't smell that, to me, it smells more like a fruit punch. It actually reminds me of my Victoria's Secret Fruit Punch lip gloss.

The Bonus Item! Nicka K New York ABSOLUTE! Makeup Cleansing Tissues (10 tissues $1.48). I actually really like getting makeup removing towelettes/tissues! They come in handy when going on vacation since they're the perfect size. So I'll be saving these until my next trip.

I was actually really curious about the Dr. Brandt BB Matte with Signature Shinerase (.25oz $10) because I find the claims a little too good to be true. I ended up trying this out yesterday and it says it can be used alone or under makeup and that it's buildable but you have to let it dry before adding more. It's a little bit of a sticky texture and it's recommended that this is applied with your fingers. Personally, I dislike using my fingers to apply foundation, but I tried it anyways. I found that this works better if you work in areas first rather than applying to your entire face and then blending. 1 layer wasn't enough for me (thanks acne) so I let it sit before applying another layer, this time I used a brush, hoping it would help blend it. In the end, the sticky texture makes this a little difficult to work with and oddly - lightly stippling with my brush made it worse than full on stippling. But I added powder on top and left it. I didn't see a huge improvement in my skin. it was a little matte but not really long lasting.

Oh goodie! Hair products! Not really a fan of hair products, but hey, I could try a good mask (or MASQUE). I don't know if it's just me, but I felt like this tube was a little light. I unscrewed the top to smell it, and my tube is pretty much empty. I might have a dime size amount in there. Great. >:(  So much for trying the Brazilian Blowout Acai Deep Conditioning Masque (1oz $5). Lucky for me though, I love BVGARI! Actually, the first perfume I ever owned was BVLGARI! This Bvlgari Eau Parfumee au the blanc (1oz $6) smells really good. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
That concludes my second Glossybox. I'm not sure I'll be continuing this service, unless they have something else that really grabs my attention. But I've decided to take the plunge on a pricier service and I have a bad feeling that I'm going to love it! So, I may stop my little subscriptions so I can indulge in another; but I'll post more on that when I receive it.
