My July Julep box contained:
Freida, "electric fuchsia micro-shimmer."
Audrey, "soft light pink micro-shimmer."
Camellia, "soft light pink pastel lip vernis."
JULY BONUS! America-The Beautiful, "shiny red with royal blue glitter and sterling silver stars, it's like nail art in a bottle."**Product descriptions for www.julep.com**
I also added on Daphne and Poppy but they were shipped separately and will arrive probably on Tuesday.
This box was basically a "4th of July" box. It had red, white, and blue paper strings and even 3 Atomic Fireball candies (which I haven't had in years! lol). And since the 4th is right around the corner, I was super excited to get this before then so I could wear America-The Beautiful. So, off went Courteney (which I got in my Intro box) and on went America. I wasn't sure if I would need a base color since America is pretty much all glitter, so I tried it without a base color and was pleasantly surprised. 2 coats were perfect! the red glitter is so fine that it looks like I have red glitter nail polish with a glittery topcoat. The only thing that I was kinda bummed about were the stars. I wish there were more of them. Its almost like trying to find a needle in a haystack. But overall, I'm pretty pleased with it and once the 4th is over, I will try one of the other 2 colors I received. :)
As for JewelMint, all of my pieces have arrived in this cute boxes that are wrapped with a black ribbon. This time wasn't any different. I received 3 boxes, each with 4 pieces to fit the theme of the box (Boho, Feminine, and Urban). So I received the following:
- Urban Tribe Necklace
- Gabrielle Earrings
- Tough Love Rings
- Night Owl Necklace
- Calla Lilly Earrings
- Dane City Bracelet
- Tiger Cabochon Ring
- Treasure Trove Pendant
- Forever Yours Bracelet
- Maria Ring
- Always Astoria Necklace
- Mumbai Bracelet in Gold
Surprisingly, I loved about 10 out of the 12 items. Not sure what I'm gonna do with the 2 'm not super fond of... we'll see. Maybe a giveaway? Maybe I'll try to sell them? Idk.
But all of the pieces are beautiful and I've never really considered myself to be a huge jewelry person but that's starting to change and I think having a site like JewelMint really helps broaden your jewelry horizon. lol
Anyways, just thought I'd share my "Christmas in June". :)
